This gallery is a collection of model farms that children have created in class during their Farm visits Learning Day. This Learning Day is a day of lessons on a farming theme that culminates in children creating models of farms based on their learning over the course of the day.
The Farm visits Learning Day has been sponsored by Natural England and supported by The Co-operative as part of the Year of Food and Farming. The aim is to provide curriculum-linked resources to support teachers and farmers in delivering high quality educational visits. This Learning Day enables pupils to get the most out of a farm visit by having a day devoted to the subject in the classroom prior to their visit.
